The community of people who worship at St Matthew-in-the-City have inherited a tradition of open hospitality, a prophetic voice, beautiful liturgy, and the gift of a fine, historic building.

 

Each generation of worshippers has contributed financially to the building up of the community and the maintenance of the church. People have contributed their time, their skills, their prayers and their money. Without their contributions there would be no church here today.

 

We need the ongoing support of our congregation and the wider community to maintain our historic building and to continue our work in the city of Auckland.

All donations will be recorded. All donations over $5 are eligible for a 33% tax rebate.

Donation Receipts will be issued annually after the end of each tax year, ie. 31st March.
