More than 11,000 singers from 42 countries participated in the World Choir Games 2024, the largest choral competition and festival on the planet.

St Matthew-in-the-City was one of the venues hosting many competitions, workshops, coaching sessions and evaluations 10 - 20 July 2024. Approximate 2,500 audience were applauding for no less than 2.5 hours to the 28 choirs of approximate total of 1300 singers from 13 countries.

Thank you to all the amazing choirs who filled Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland with their beautiful music and inspiring energy. Your performances have left a wonderful mark on our souls.
